Tell
us, when did mind-body first bend you to it's will besides your obvious
coolness, what makes you qualified to teach?
I first started doing yoga in the ARMY. The physical program the military has is
very hard on the body and I needed a way to work out the tension created by the
daily PT sessions. Years later I was in car wreck and crawled around my house
for three months. Determined to not be a victim of my injuries, I had a yoga
teacher, massage therapist and a chiropractor work with me three times a week
and after a month or two I was able to go back to work and got my freedom back.
Since then I have devoted my life to the service of others and healing them in
the ways I know how, by listening and teaching people to listen to their bodies.
The body is just the physical part of an individual and I try to reach the
individual on many other levels, including mental and
spiritual.

What
can we expect to see, hear and do in your classes?
I do believe I was a comic in a
past life, so you will see laughing, hear laughing, feel laughing and
participate in laughing as we move in and out of
postures.
I like to keep it fun, safe and free. Sometimes we break into free form dance or
Tai Chi. I do my best to connect with everyone in the room on a personal level,
usually through some kind of massage at the end of class! (Do I have your
attention now?
What
pose/move do you dig the most and why?
Dandayamana
Dhanurasana, Standing Bow Pose. When I
do this I feel free, like I can be shot off into space live the existence of
stardust!
If
you could push a button and remove a pose/move from history, which one and
why?
Handstand, I have an old shoulder injury I'm mindful
of.

What
are 3 things that make you smile real big and cheesy? (ed. no fart jokes)
Kids,
Pets, and Cameras!
What
is your favorite quote when you're in need of a little inspiration?
If
you judge people, you have no time to love them. ~ Mother Teresa
If
you could do anything to change the world, what would it
be? Teach people
to fish, to get them back to nature.
Any
other interesting information you would like to share with the nice people
reading this here Bio?
I love to fish, because I'm better at it than my dad! I practice Tai Chi, play
the flute, garden (you kill it, I can revive it!) ride motorcycles and
occasionally, ok daily, enjoy a hazelnut cappuccino. I love to read, mostly yoga
and philosophy stuff and spend some time everyday feeding birds, cats, coons,
whatever comes over for dinner!
