Blooming Lotus Classes (Kids & Prenatal Yoga)
Our Blooming Lotus programs are oriented around providing holistic care for parents and children from the womb to "just about ready to drive you crazy".
> Prenatal Yoga
Our teachers were trained through Mamaste with Karen Prior. Prenatal
yoga is an excellent exercise option during pregnancy helping women get
through their pregnancy with minimal discomfort. This class encourages
you to trust in the wisdom of your changing body as well as connect
with your child well before you meet face to face.
> Postnatal Yoga (Babies)
Our teachers were trained through Mamaste with Karen Prior. Blooming
Babies Postnatal Yoga is a baby friendly class that allows the mother
to be with her child during a time when baby needs her most. This Mommy
and Baby class helps mom get back into shape while connecting with her
baby at the same time! This is a fun class for both moms and babies.
This is a great place to meet other moms! Be ready to sing and play!
This class is for mommies of all ages and babies 6 weeks to crawling.
> Parent & Me Yoga (Ages 1-3)
Our teachers were trained through Mamaste with Karen Prior. This
class is for toddlers between the ages of 1 and 3. Have fun playing
with your child as you both pretend to be trees, snakes, or even the
wind! This class allows parent and child to bond while playing games
and singing songs.
> Kids Yoga (Ages 4-7)
Kids yoga is a yoga program designed to meet the
special needs of children between the ages of 4 and 7. Kids develop strength,
flexibility, coordination and relaxation through a combination of fun postures,
group games, story telling, music and breathing exercises. This course is designed to help children build respect for
themselves and others. These classes are designed specifically for a child's
mind and body.
> Pre-Teen Yoga (Ages 8-11)
Pre-Teen yoga classes are designed for the child between
ages 8 and 11 and aid in developing strength, flexibility, mental acuity,
coordination and relaxation while using a combination of fun yoga postures,
group games, music, guided meditation and breathing exercises. Through this we strive to teach
self-acceptance and build respect for others. This is a class designed for
today’s pre-teen's mind and body.
> Teen Yoga (Ages 12+)
This class is designed for ages 12 and above. This class
starts with a high energy yoga class set to the music today’s teen
enjoys and
ends with a deep relaxation segment. This class aims to provide the
tools
necessary to help ease the stress placed on today’s teen. It is also
excellent for teens in sports and aids in injury preventing, stamina
development and increased lung capacity. Mostly though, it's a place to
have fun and be yourself!
